Genuine oem aam gears. Truck was mostly used for town driving, occasionally pulling a trailer. There is a spot, see photo, where I went little far grinding the race off to get shim. There is typical wear along the contact area, but well within acceptable tolerances for 145,000 miles.

These gears only fit trucks with rear coil springs. I include photos of the actual part to best my ability, however, lighting, shadows, various materials and other factors can make it hard depict products exactly as they are. This very nice 4.10 ring and pinion set came off a 2017 Ram 2500 with rear coil spring. Root and crest of gear tips are in perfect shape, not showing any wear.

Ring and pinion are intact with no known cracks, stripped threads or significant wear. Listing is for the item listed only. This will not affect the performance of pinion or bearing on. Swapped for 4.56s at 145,000 miles.
